When we were Taipans

Well i woke this morning with the urge to brew some more so without any planning i started weighing grains and heating water. Here's what i made, 25 L at 1062
5kg Golden Promise
1KG Maris Otter
200 grm Biscuit Malt
250 grm Melanoidin Malt
400 grm Carapils
50 grm Roasted Barley
150 grm Chocolate Malt

52 grm Northdown 7.9% 60 mins
17 grm Syrians 15 mins
Protofloc 15 mins

Another borrowed recipe off Wez, i really must fire up my own imagination every now and then!
Everything went smooth, the wort smelled amazing. I did overshoot my gravity by a few points but nothing to be concerned about, i ended upwith 25L at 1048. I didn't take any pics but i'll post a pic of the finished product. Here's the recipe,

4800gm Pale Malt 97%
70gm Crystal Malt 1.5%
50gm Roasted Barley 1%
25gm Chocolate Malt 0.5%
71gm Fuggles [4.5%] (90 min) Hops ~30 IBU
44gm Styrian Goldings [3.%] (15 min)
